I've already posted this in answer to others looking for dog friendly accommodation, but thought I ought to formalise it...
We stayed at Hele Barton for a weeks holiday last March with my mum and the two dogs, my Cousin and his new wife spent their honeymoon there in May and were upgraded to a more expensive cottage, my Aunt and Uncle took their collie for a week in September, we all went for Christmas (booking 4 out of the existing 5 cottages and taking 3 dogs) and now Andy and I are going back in March for another week with our 2 dogs and his brother is joining us for a long weekend with is wife and two young children.
I can't speak highly enough of Rachel and Peter Chapman, Rachel was a star at Christmas when our car broke down and we arrived without so much as a tea bag at midnight! They have lots of dogs on the farm so understand them and don't freak out when Tess tells Jay off for trying her dinner
and Andy loves the fishing which is free to residents!! They bend over backwards to make sure everything is just right for you and really appreciate it if you respect the farm and leave the cottages tidy when you leave, in fact Rachel even called us after Christmas to say thanks for not wrecking the place
They are just finishing off the new barn conversion, 4 en-suite bedrooms with a huge living space above, am hoping we can go back again for Christmas this year!
I've had the pleasure of staying in Cyder Barn and Mohay so can personally vouch for the accommodation in those barns, and we've had family stay in Hayloft and Courtyard Stables, so I can vouch for them too. I haven't seen Buttermill inside but spoke to people staying there at Christmas who thought it was charming. Am hoping to get a tour of the new barn this March (it's new for 2010) so can report back on that one too!

(p.s. can we get this added to the Springers Welcome area?)
