According to the packet info and a leaflet I picked up, these are 100% natural raw foods that require no refrigeration. They just require a little warm water. So, just wondering if anyone has tried this, and what they thought of it? Thanks

Hope has megoesophagus so needs special feeding and is normally fed raw or wainwrights wet food which she does ok on but we needed a tent friendly food that was space saving. My assessment was ... for an active gundog the amounts are not enough therefore it is expensive. is it good food - yes did she love it - yes was the waste good - yes would I use it again? this is where I have a dilemma, for Hope yes, for the others I would probably not as I don't think the feeding guidelines are right (unless I have very over active dogs) and therefore it becomes very expensive. So yes and no, I like the food but not the price and as I feed expensive food normally (mainly Natural Instinct) that has to be a limiter. According to the packet, they should also have one raw meaty bone per day, so my two have been having the K9 naturals for breakfast and a chicken quarter for tea. I've been leaning towards a rmb diet for a while now as wasn't happy with my girls' poop, but it's all new to me and I want to be sure I'm giving my dogs enough to eat. My rescue pointer x Maddy is only 12 months old and seems to lose weight very easily, so in particular I want to make sure she keeps weight on. Also, if I was going to put them both on rmb diet, I didn't then want to have to change them back onto dry food if they were going into kennels. This K9 naturals food would be ideal if they're being kennelled. K9 naturals isn't cheap but it's on offer at my local pet shop at the moment and after a bit of googling I have found a couple of sites who are selling it at the same offer price as the pet shop, and I'm very happy with the end results, namely, the poop! So, so far from me, it's a thumbs up,, and it's definitely paws up from Millie & Maddy.

I can't say I was all that impressed with it, I expected it to soak up the warm water a bit that I put in but it didn't, the pellets just floated around in it Obi wasn't hugely convinced though he did eat it eventually. Also the amounts stated were nowhere near enough for a working type springer. The recommended amounts are based on 1% of body weight and Obi needs at least 4%, being so high energy, which makes it extremely expensive. I would possibly use it again in an absolute emergency, but the butchers or supermarket seems to me a much more economical way to buy Obi's food Love Georgia, Obi (ESS), Honey Bear (lab) and Rosie (JRT)
