At just shy of five months, and less then a week after finishing puppy obedience, he's going to be a star.
But don't panic that he's too young.
We started on feet awareness you could say, putting front paws on boxes, in boxes and on something called physio pads. They are air cushions used for humans but get the dogs used to a wobble under they feet. He did all of this well. This was after a warm up of sit, down, sit, bows and twists and turns.
Then we did stays, always handy. They they were running through poles the width of weaves, and called back round. Then recalled over one very low jump. Last he tried the tunnel at half length and with a bag of food as a bride he made it through.
He was very good, even though the second when not being worked he was trying to get to the other puppies, something we're working on.
Away next week, but when I return we're going to build up to contacts on the proper equipment and doing long runs of very low jumps, basically building up control and direction til they're old enough for the jumps to get higher.
