First choice dog, Ben, is on three legs. Scaved a rear pad and he’s made it worse by licking and chewing, and he’s worked out how to bend the buster collar.
Second choice, Spike, had a mishap last Sunday and spent a night at the emergency vet, very deep wound on his thigh and torn patella ligament, both stitched, and probably won’t work this season. (This is the reason I’ve been distracted from being “discourteous and rude” (aka contributing
) on the other threads
).
So, that leaves Ollie. He usually gets one days beating at the end of the season when there’s not so many birds, and those that are left flush and take off readily. He’s a tendency to shred any game he gets his teeth on, and is fixated by dead birds being carried or hung on the shoot. On a positive note, he’s good on the whistle, and he’ll thoroughly enjoy his day!
