Murphy and I are in our first competition on Sunday.
It is a Dawn Weaver "Fab" show at Camelford.
Since he broke his toe way back in May, and eventually had surgery, I have not jumped him at all at full height. (he measures "large" under KC rules by literally millimetres) but Dawn has five jumping heights and large dogs have a choice, so he will jump at the lower height, which is more like the UKA "standard" I believe.
In true Murphy style he has managed to get an injury this week - he has cut a pad on his paw. It is only a small cut but it has been making him limp. I am busy trying to get it healed in time. We have a one to one lesson this afternoon, but won't do any jumping, just a bit of contact and control work.
Can I have lots of ST thoughts for his paw to be better, and for me not to go wrong on the courses!
