We have just adopted ( 1 week ago) a 5 year old girl to go with our 8 year old boy. They are getting on really well, no animosity over food, sleep with their beds next to each other through the night and they are playing together. The one big problem is that our boy just wont leave her alone. He sticks to her side all the time and if gets the chance he will hump her. She was very stressed when she came but every day sees an improvement. Is it to do with sorting out the new order amongst them or just because there is heightened excitement within the pack.? I realise it is very early days but it is very tiring stopping things escalating all the time. Please tell me it will subside eventually!! Also any ideas would be VERY much appreciated as we have only ever had one Springy at a time before.
