Not sure if it's just my local Sainsburys but they hadn't done these for ages, but are now doing Basics frozen pork chops again

They're £2.50 for a bag (800g)

Dottie and cassie our springer girls have insited that they def want to come and live with you and have sainsburys basic pork chops for their tea yum yum xxxx
I feed the girls these sometimes lol xx

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's fine if it's been frozen for a month? Something to do with killing the parasites?

Well its sold for human consumption, so I would hope there is no parasites???

Bailey has never had any problem on pork, her poo's are fine.

Please correct me if Im wrong, but in the wild, surely anything goes, they are not going to give up on a yummy little piglet if they can catch it......

Bessie-May, I think you are confusing that with 'fur on rabbits', they need to be frozen to kill parasites.

I'm not an expert or dog dietician but I do not think their is anything wrong in feeding pork.

Personally I find it gives my lot very loose stools so I do not feed it myself. I think it may be a bit rich for them.

Me, I love love belly pork mmmmmmm. Foooood!!

I think it was because of trichonosis, we are ok in this country now though. I can't feed it to Jess as it results in explosions

G has not tried it yet. Not sure if regular worming would cover it anyway

, I didn't do much research after I found it was safe but not suited when I was changing Jess.

my 2 girls have been eating raw pork for 6 years and they are still here and OK
They both eat.. Belly pork with bone in ,, at least 2 times weekly, pigs feet 2 each every week . No probs and their poos are golden and solid. Both girls have never problems with their glands.

I've given mine Pork chops with no issue, the cheapest place I found for them was Iceland.
