| Zebedee was found in Hertfordshire. He has really lovely manners but getting a photo to match the one on his poster was a bit of a trial. Finally, with much help from Angus, I was confident enough to phone his owner. The emotion was so clear that we had to see this through tonight. Zeb had already been excited when we first used his real name but the sight of him when he saw his dad was something else. There were tears all round. He is clearly a very much loved dog and he has not lost any of his feeling for his family. Zeb is not young but I really hope he has a good few happy years ahead of him. |

It came to me that every time I lose a dog, they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be Dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are - Unknown
