All my Christmas's have come at once !!!

Fidget made it through the operation. We've just been to see him. He's feeling very very sorry for himself and the next 48 hours are going to be critical but he's ALIVE !!!

Glen said that the operation took just over 3 and a half hours. Fidget was stable throughout and as soon as Glen tied off the duct, his heart rate dropped significantly.

Glen has also been contacted by the local paper and they're interested in running a story about our little star.

I will post some pictures on here of our little man when I've stopped dancing round the room

He's not out of the woods yet and he's being transferred to the emergency treatment centre this afternoon so he can be monitored throughout the night.

Did you get in touch with Beverley Cuddy? I know they have someone on their team who can help with pet insurance issues

I left a message for Beverley but haven't had a callback as yet. I will chase it once I've got Fidget home

Funnily enough the insurance company rang while my husband and I were waiting to go through and see Fidget Widget

The underwriters have also turned down our appeal - no surprise there but if they can help us with 'any other' claims, please don't hesitate to ring them !!! I better not repeat my reply

I've got v wet glasses and phone reading this fantastic news

He's a beautiful brave boy with a fantastic vet, who deserves a big drink tonight.

Will continue to send healing thoughts.

All we want now is that Jess is found!

We've just had another update from the 'Emergency vets' to say that they've drawn another 10ml of 'air' out of his chest drain.

Fidget was wagging his tail and laying on his back for a tummy rub

Hope our baby continues to improve
